Volunteer shifts are in four-hour blocks from Wednesday evening through Saturday evening of the sale weekend. Positions are filled on a first come, first served basis. See position details and get your volunteer slot early by signing up with SignUpGenius. Sitting positions are available for those who need them.

Volunteer sign ups or changes will not be allowed on SignUpGenius
after 9 pm the Sunday prior to the sale. For volunteer changes after that time, or if you have questions, contact us at volunteer@kidsmarketinc.com.

VOLUNTEERING
When you sign up to volunteer, you are making a commitment to arrive and do the job you signed up to do. Kids Market cannot run without our group of volunteers. All volunteers are asked to arrive 10-15 MINUTES EARLY for their shift to sign in, get a name tag and find their assigned position. If you cannot make your shift, YOU MUST CONTACT A KIDS MARKET, INC. TEAM MEMBER WITH INFORMATION ABOUT WHO WILL FILL YOUR POSITION OR TO ASK US TO FIND A REPLACEMENT FOR YOU. (The best way to reach us for emergency volunteer issues is to email us at volunteer@kidsmarketinc.com) Volunteers are a vital part of Kids Market’s success!
No children will be allowed to accompany you during your shift. If circumstances require your nursing infant UNDER 6 months of age to be with you, you must obtain prior permission from the Volunteer Coordinator or the Sale Coordinator. Please bring your own water bottles; there will be water to refill them if needed.
Friday morning volunteers who also consign are asked to check-in through the consignor process prior to the 7:45 am shift. Stations will be open at 7:30 am for Friday morning volunteers who are scheduled to work at 7:45 am.
Kids Market, Inc. is not responsible for personal items that you bring with you.
VOLUNTEER PRE-SALE
Each person who works a four-hour shift will receive a spot to the Volunteer Pre-Sale on Friday from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. Your name will be checked off our volunteer list as you enter the sale. Only one person will be admitted per volunteer shift – no spouses, children, or other persons will be admitted. Please plan accordingly.
Our pre-sale shopping on Friday night is 100% toddler free. You may bring a baby -6mos or younger- but they absolutely must be worn on your body the ENTIRE time. All shoppers who ignore this will be escorted out.
Volunteers may choose to work an additional shift to bring a friend as their extra shopper during the 5pm volunteer presale. Please add that to the comments when you sign up for your additional shift.
Volunteers who choose to work 2 or more shifts for their own benefit may shop at the 8+ hour volunteer presale at 4pm. These volunteers giving 8 or more hours will also have their names checked off the presale shopping list for their early entry.
